2017 wedding season may officially start next Friday, but tonight we are excited to share with you our first engagement session of the year. This session is just a little special to us because of our history with these two. If you follow our blog, you might recall a few weddings back  to both Chelsey & Jake’s  and Kate & Dan’s  wedding where we  raved over and over about their groomsmen (aka-worlds best groomsmen) as we often refer to them as. Well, if Chris looks familiar to you, it’s because he  just so happens to be one of them! That’s right! There is yet another fun wedding  to look forward to with those guys and we couldn’t be more excited. Now by no means are we leaving Elise out as she and I (Jana) have a funny story of how we actually met.  While shooting Kate and Dan’s reception last May Elise took a break from the dance floor to literally almost make me cry (she had no idea about that part). Her words to me were: I saw you guys at Jake & Chelsey’s wedding and was even more excited to see you here.  I just wanted you to know I love your work  and I know i’m getting engaged very soon and have to have you guys be apart of my wedding! Like seriously cue the tears to all of this because I just LOVE these two. I remember being so in shock and caught off guard all I could say is thank you so much and how do you know you are getting engaged soon? haha!  Well, fast forward to July and she was right! I’ve never been so happy to see a email in our inbox! Now that you know a little bit of our history together 🙂 we are thrilled to share with you all the future Barretts! October 21st can’t come soon enough!
