Whitney and Josh said ‘I do’ less than a week ago at The Sutherland wedding venue in Wake Forest, NC. It absolutely poured down rain the majority of the day, which would have dampened most brides’ spirits, but not Whitney. She didn’t even act like she knew it was raining, and while rain always throws a small wrench into our plans for photos, we used the beautiful covered porch and it made a gorgeous location for their first look!
Their first look was so romantic. Whitney stood a few feet away from Josh so that when he turned around he could see her entire dress and take it all in. We always love the look on our groom’s faces when they see their bride for the first time, and Josh’s was no different. Pure love and excitement to be marrying this beautiful woman!
Following the ceremony the rain let up just enough for us to grab some quick photos with Josh’s grandmother’s light blue, antique, Ford Thunderbird. Talk about some excited photographers!
Whitney and Josh had their first dance to Don’t Think I Can’t Love You by Jake Owen. They picked the song because the first time Josh told Whitney he loved her was at a Jake Owen concert while he was playing that song. So sweet.
