Happy Friday! We’re so happy to be sharing Anna and Michael’s wedding today! We’ve been looking forward to this wedding ever since we visited the ceremony site last fall! Anna’s family has a home on the waterway in Wilmington with beautiful Live Oak trees and an amazing view, which also happens to be the perfect spot for a wedding ceremony! 

Our favorite parts of the day included the Anna and Michael’s first look (where Anna actually cried after she told us it would be Michael who cried) and the ceremony, where Michael actually did cry and Anna took great joy in it (it was very sweet). We also loved Anna’s bravery in shaking the bottle of champagne prior to opening it (we may or may not have suggested this) and then spraying it right at us (great for photos!). 

The reception was held a Poplar Grove Plantation right down the road, a beautiful backdrop for guests as they partied late into the night!
