Sarah and Cole’s Greenville, NC black tie wedding last weekend was to die for. The ceremony was held at St. James Methodist Church in Greenville, followed by the reception at Rock Springs Center.
I have gotten to know Sarah and Cole quite well over the past year as they have been planning their wedding. Sarah is a ball of energy, excitement and positivity and everyone that knows her would agree. Cole is very laid back and was a bit reserved the first time I met him at their engagement session. It wasn’t until the rehearsal dinner when he commandeered the microphone and sang a bit of karaoke that I saw his true colors (which are purple and gold).
Both Sarah and Cole are die hard ECU Pirate fans, and included some subtle purple and gold in their wedding. Sarah wore purple Badgley Mischka shoes and an ECU Pirate garter, both as a surprise to Cole, and Cole and all of the groomsmen (even the NC State and UNC fans) wore purple and gold striped socks.
The Band of Oz played at the reception and had everyone on their feet dancing, and even some guests on stage singing! It was such a great time working with all of the wedding professionals and being part of such a great day.
Sarah and Cole – we love you both and hope you’re having a wonderful time on your honeymoon!
