Danielle and Bogie chose to have their engagement session in Greenville, North Carolina, where they met and currently live. We started at the ECU Pirate football stadium on the East Carolina University campus. We shoot fairly regularly on the field and at the stadium, but we have never been lucky enough to have it painted for a game! So exciting! After we left the stadium we walked around downtown Greenville and the main part of campus and found an AMAZING and GIANT white Azalea bush. It was a dream. In the middle of the bushes went Danielle and Bogie and it definitely made for some of my favorite images from the session.
A question we always ask our couples, “do you have any pets?”. Usually the answer is yes, a dog, or 2 cats or a combination of one or two of each. When I heard “4 dogs and 6 cats”, the first words out of my mouth were “oh my gosh, you have me beat! I have a zoo too!”. That was a first, and probably a last. (You can read about part of my zoo in this blog post.) Of course, most of the rest of their session was spent telling stories and talking about our furry, four-legged children!
It is so obvious from just being around Danielle and Bogie for even just a few minutes that they are so in love and so happy together. We are so excited for their Lake Lure, NC wedding next year!
