Emily and Thomas’ wedding was a little extra special for us for a few reasons! First, neither of us had ever been to New Jersey so we both got to check that state off of our to-visit lists! Second and most importantly, Emily is my (Michele) cousin! We grew up together in Upstate New York! Growing up with Emily and as we got older and rarely got to see each other…mainly just Facebook updates… I was always curious about what type of guy she would end up with. Turns out, Thomas is the exact perfect fit for her!

When life happened just a few months before the wedding and they unexpectedly and quickly moved from NJ to Texas and both started new jobs, Thomas kept Emily grounded during a time when life literally couldn’t be much more insane. It’s testing times like these that really prove that a marriage will last and we’re pretty sure these two will be just fine!

They got married in a church that is incredibly meaningful to Emily’s family, it contains a communion table given to the church by her Great Grandmother and it’s down the road from land that had belonged to her Great Grandparents. We were able to visit that property actually shot most of Emily and Thomas’ portraits on it!

The reception was held at Basking Ridge Country Club which was a beautiful place for a heck of a party!
