Emily and Tyler’s entire day was filled with so many amazing aspects it’s hard to find a place to begin! From Emily’s Hayley Paige dress to Tyler’s shoes with an embroidered ECU pirate, and the purple and gold pom pom exit it was definitely a wonderful day! Emily and Tyler met and started dating at East Carolina University almost 10 years ago, so it was only fitting to include some ECU themed parts of the day. 

Emily and Tyler shared a first look prior to the ceremony on the lawn at Brook Valley and even though it was a bit warm, it was such a sweet moment for the two of them. Both the ceremony and reception took place at Brook Valley Country Club, the ceremony was held on the lawn overlooking the water and the reception inside and on the patio with amazing food (shout out to the Mac and Cheese) and the Special Occasions Band playing into the evening. While we’re on the topic of food, I also have to mention their cake. It was a funfetti cake – something you don’t see very often at weddings and I loved how they picked something non-traditional (PS – it was amazing.)
