Wrightsville Manor Wedding Photographer | Emily + Blaine Married

Here it is! Our first wedding of 2018 and it is gorgeous and full of love! Emily and Blaine had their wedding at Wrightsville Manor, one of our favorite wedding venues in Wilmington, NC! The venue, both inside and outside, has so many different options for set up and decoration that no wedding is ever the same there. They chose to have their ceremony inside, with a fire in the fireplace and lots of candles. The cocktail hour was held outside, where everyone stayed warm under a tent and then dinner and dancing was back inside.

The ladies spent the morning getting their hair and makeup done while Kickstand Events took care of setting up and decorating! Emily wore her hair down and to the side paired with a beautiful gown from Coastal Knot with an illusion lace back. Simply stunning. She wore a ring on her right hand that had been given to her grandmother by her grandfather when she turned 16, which was then in turn given to Emily by her grandmother when Emily turned 16.

Blaine and the guys arrived to Wrightsville Manor and we headed straight to Blaine and Emily’s first look, which included lots of big hugs, kisses and high-fives. Emily says that Blaine taught her how to do a good high-five. Between the secret handshakes and high-fives we don’t know which is cuter.

Emily’s held a locket inscribed with the words “I’m always with you” with photos of her dad inside, around her bouquet as she walked down the aisle, escorted by her brothers. The ceremony was short and sweet and the happiest of happy couples laughed together as they walked back down the aisle.

The reception was nothing short of amazing with heartfelt yet hilarious toasts from Emily’s brothers and Blaine’s dad followed by dancing and a sparkler exit.
