You probably have noticed things have been a little quiet around here lately. Well that’s partially because we have been spending a lot of our time on and off planes traveling the country for shoots and to the Dominican for Hayley & Chris’s amazing wedding! Let us just be the first to say, there’s something extra exciting about leaving the cold March temps of the Carolinas to go some place warm and tropical for a wedding. Not only was the weather there perfect, but all of the bright vivd colors instantly put us in our happy place! We spent 5 days with Chris & Hayley’s friends and family on the beautiful Dreams La Romana resort. If you would have told me when I first met Hayley years ago we would be traveling out of the country to photograph her wedding I would never believed it. I cannot even began to express how honored we were to have been there for this weekend/ week of celebration! Having known Hayley and Chris for sometime now I knew this wedding would not disappoint in the fun department. They are two of the sweetest, most down to earth people I have ever met, but they also know how to have a good time. Throughout meeting their friends and family we quickly learned there were plenty of laughs to be had on this trip. Little did we know how hard it was going to be not seeing “tropical dad” or everyone by the swim up bar daily when we returned home. It truly took some adjustment! 🙂 When Monday rolled around it was finally the day everyone had been waiting for-wedding day! Can we say perfect? Other than it being a little warmer than we were all use to everything turned out so beautiful. From their emotional  first look under the palms to the ceremony and finally ending with the most perfect sunset their day was unforgettable in many ways. It’s hard to believe it’s been two weeks since we were all dancing the night away by the ocean, but we are beyond thrilled to introduce to you the newest Mr. & Mrs. Friend! Congrats Hayley & Chris! We love you guys!
