Now that we are all recovered from hurricane Matthew, we can finally share the most exciting, crazy and wildest wedding of our career!
Casey & Charles were married on October 8th when Matthew decided to take a turn inland toward eastern NC. While most brides would have found a hiding place in the corner and cried their day away, Casey embraced the horrible weather and married the man of her dreams! Of course with extreme weather came quick location changes and limitations . Instead of the once planned ceremony in the gardens, Casey and Charles were married during an intimate ceremony in the living room area of Myrtle Grove planation. All of their family and friends were such troopers to adjust to the last minute changes and watched the ceremony from staircase and hallway of the house. Some of our most favorite moments of the day (shown below) were the time spent between Casey and her dad. As you can tell, their bond is like no other. From the time he saw her in her gown to their dance together you could just tell his love for her is so strong and he wanted nothing but a perfect wedding day for his daughter. Also, be sure to see the epic hurricane shots at the end that include a trash the dress like session with Casey and her bridesmaids!
Through it all Casey and Charles really proved it to be true that as long as you have your love for each other, you can make a perfect day together rain or shine. Congrats to the Hollands! <3 We hope you had a amazing honeymoon in Ireland!
