Beth and Sam got married a few weekends ago at the Dunes Club in Atlantic Beach. About a week before the wedding we started hearing news about Hurricane Matthew. At first there wasn’t much concern, but by Monday night I knew I needed to text Beth and see what her tentative options were. By Tuesday afternoon she had a few options worked out and by Thursday it was decided they would move the wedding from Saturday to Friday, even though the forecast wasn’t looking too bad for Saturday anymore. That was the best decision they ever made, because by Saturday morning the hurricane was still headed straight for the coast. All of their vendors were SO incredibly accommodating and willing to do anything Beth and Sam needed that it really reminded us how much we LOVE working with all of our local wedding professionals!

By the time we arrived on Friday the girls were all relaxed and the fact that it was a day earlier than planned wasn’t on anyones mind! The ceremony and reception were both held inside the Dunes Club, and it turned out to be a really nice day and we were able to take everyone outside for photos! After the ceremony everyone danced ALL night and Beth and Sam did a pom pom exit with NC State and ECU pom poms.

Beth had her sweet pup, Bailey, come for photos with her before the ceremony and they are sooo cute… they may or may not be half of the photos in this post! We are also SUPER in love with Beth’s dress and so that’s basically the rest of the blog post! Sam does make a few appearances too 😉
