Happy Sunday!! We are very excited to be sharing Caroline and Chase’s wedding on the blog today! The entire day was gorgeous, from the getting ready space at the Coral Bay Club in Atlantic Beach, the wedding ceremony at First United Methodist in Morehead City and the reception set up back at the Coral Bay Club. 

While the guys were hanging out and getting ready off site, Caroline’s mom and sister helped her into her dress, a beautiful Martina Liana dress from Coastal Knot. Caroline wore her grandmother’s veil, one of our favorite traditions! That veil has been worn by several other women in the family and it is a stunning heirloom! After an emotional first look with her dad and grandfather, Caroline and the girls headed to the church for the ceremony!

At the church, the groomsmen ushered guests while the ladies waited for go time in the limo outside. Chase’s grandfather was the preacher (another one of our favorite things!), it was a touching and heartfelt ceremony. After the ceremony the bridal party and family showered Chase and Caroline with rose petals as they exited the church.

My favorite part of the day also happens to be when everyone involved was probably the most miserable. The weather was unseasonably cold and windy, and taking photos at sunset on the beach when the weather is like that is not pleasant for any one involved. However getting to capture these two, together, just spending some time soaking in the fact that they are married was so amazing. The way they snuggle and Chase kisses Caroline on the forehead every chance he gets is the sweetest thing ever! 

Once we got everyone back inside and thawed out it was time to start the party! The Main Event Band kept everyone dancing until it was time to leave! Caroline and Chase’s guests cheered for them as they hopped into an antique car and left the reception!
