We are so excited to share this beautiful wedding outside of Charlotte, NC, at Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens on the blog today! Brittany and Seth are such a fun couple and not once did the hurricane like rain storms dampen their moods.

They shared a private first look in the Orchid Conservatory surrounded by lush tropical plants. In addition to a first look they also read their vows to each other – we loved this idea for more private couples who don’t want to read vows during the ceremony!

Much to everyone’s surprise, right before the ceremony the torrential rain stopped, the clouds parted and the sun came out! It may have been in part to do with the traditional family tequila shot prior to the wedding – hahaha!

The reception began with a human wheel barrow race with the bridal party members and only got better from there! The rain actually started again, which is the one time we like having rain so we can do night time rain photos and they are some of our favorites!
