We hope you all had a great Christmas! The sweetest couple just hit the blog and we couldn’t be more excited to share their day with you. Savannah & Taylor’s wedding is one we have been looking forward to since meeting Savannah, her mom and sister last year. During our first meeting, we talked for hours and instantly connected. It was then I knew this day would feel like celebrating someone from my own family and boy, was I right! Being back at Brooklyn Arts Center working alongside of some of our favorite Wilmington vendors just felt like coming home. Although the weather was far from nice (can you say wind, rain and a high of maybe 45?), we had the best time with Savannah, Taylor their families and friends! Shoutout to the best bridal party for braving the weather to make sure they had photos outside- you guys are THE BEST! There were many sweet moments from their day, but the most unforgettable would have to be the first looks. From Savannah’s bridesmaids seeing her for the first time, to her sweet dad’s reaction seeing her and finally Taylor’s, each one was unique in their own way. For their ceremony, they chose to use the inside of the historic church paired with soft draping and candles which created the most beautiful, romantic setting. As the rain fell outside Savannah and Taylor said their vows and sealed their marriage with a kiss before skipping down the aisle as husband and wife! It was perfect! After the space was flipped for the reception guest enjoyed dinner and Jebb Mac Band kept the dance floor packed throughout the entire night. It was a blast! Savannah & Taylor we love you guys so much and could not be more excited for you! Congrats to the Smiths! Can we do it all again?!
