Happy Friday!
Before we kick off another wedding weekend, we had to share Kayla & Brett’s amazing Brookgreen Gardens wedding with you all! To be honest, we have held this wedding from the blog for a few weeks now because we are so sad to see it end as it has been something we have been looking forward to for over a year. Truly, this day was one of a kind in many ways. When I met Kayla and Brett well over a year ago we instantly clicked. What probably should have been an hour meeting turned into us hanging out in the middle of Starbucks for almost 3 hours and I knew then what a magical day this was going to be. For their engagement session we walked through gardens, climbed trees and even ran on the beach baywatch style haha. It was perfect. For Kayla’s bridal session we stressed about weather while talking on the phone all the way to her hair and makeup appointment as it was down pouring for the sun to come out and be perfect. So you probably are seeing a trend here, even through the craziest of things these two always come out- perfect. Fast forward to April 27- their wedding day. As you are soon about to see it to was literally perfect, but in more ways than one. The details and setting were breathtaking. If you have never experienced Brookgreen Gardens you should put that on your bucketlist now. During the Spring it is to die for and we are so lucky to live right down the road from such a hidden gem. Kelly with Little Shop of Flowers made the most unforgettable arrangements for their head table and the bouquets of pop color and spring greens were gorgeous. Their ceremony was heartfelt, personal and unforgettable. Brett’s reaction to seeing Kayla come down the aisle had us all in tears and was so genuine. This moment alone is something we will always remember about their day. Kayla & Brett also chose to do personal vows to each other. Following the ceremony, guest moved to their own private garden for cocktail hour before introductions inside the tent. Once the bridal party was introduced Kayla and Brett had their first dance which was beautifully choreographed before mingling with friends and family. After the sun had set (you must see those photos!) the toast and dancing kicked off the night of fun and I mean FUN! This crowd knows how to party! The Finesse Band kept the dance floor packed the entire time and everyone had a blast! Before sending these two off for their honeymoon, we had to stop for a few nighttime photos with the vintage Rolls Royce. These might be some of our most favorite ever! <3
Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Griffith! We love you and are SO excited for you to finally be married, even though we are sad to see the wedding planning end!
