I sat in my office with Carolyn a little less than a year ago and immediately loved her heart and natural ability to be excited about pretty much everything wedding related or not. I wasn’t surprised at all when I met Austin and found his personality fits perfectly with hers. This paired with their The Carolina Inn wedding was a culmination of the perfect wedding day.

First off, June 1 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with an 80 degree high. Yes. Please. Second, Carolyn’s dress was the most amazing fit for both her and The Carolina Inn’s classic black and white floor, grand chandeliers and high ceilings. Third, I knew the most exciting part of the day for Carolyn and Austin was seeing each other at either end of the aisle and they did not disappoint. Their smiles tell it all.

Following the ceremony and portraits, we loved that Carolyn and Austin carved out a handful of minutes to just spend sometime together and soak in the day. A few relaxing moments before the fun, dancing and all the hugs!

After dinner was served and the cake was cut the dancing commenced and Carolyn and Austin ended their reception with a special dance for the two of them and exited the ballroom to a roomful of cheering guests.
