Holly and David are planning a December wedding at Rose Hill Plantation in North Carolina, so we took their engagement session as an opportunity to capture them on the property at a different time of year! Rose Hill is one of the few locations that stays beautiful year round and is one of our favorite places to shoot in Eastern North Carolina! Also meaningful to Holly and David is East Carolina University, where they met and both attended college. So, we also made a quick pit stop on campus to grab some photos of them there.

Adding in some canine joy and hilarity to their session is Riley, their 2 year old Dachsund. He is generally on a leash or in a smaller backyard so when we set him loose in the great outdoor landscape of Rose Hill he had an insane case of the zoomies and had us laughing until we were crying. Silly boy.
