128 South Wedding Photographer | Katherine & Ryan Married

Katherine and Ryan. I don’t even know where to start. Actually, yes I do. Ever since their engagement session, we could tell how ridiculously cute they are together and they don’t even realize it. Katherine gets this sweet smile on her face and scrunches up her nose just a little bit and it’s absolutely the best thing ever. The images from their first look are included in the photos below, but you would never know which are from their first look and which are the actual portraits of them together.

Their wedding was just as amazing as they are. From the drool worth linens that Katherine and her mom picked out (yes, we do drool over linens, don’t judge), the choice of 128 South in Wilmington as their venue, the amazing florals and their gorgeous bridal party it was just the most perfect day. While the girls sipped champagne and got prepped for the day at Stemmerman’s Inn, the guys arrived dressed and ready to do work! They all put on their best model faces and we had quite a good time shooting while we waited on the girls. Then it was first look time! Yay! Like I said earlier, they basically had the sweetest moments together, seeing each other for the first time that day and naturally just looked fantastic and sweet.

The ceremony took place on the back patio of 128 South overlooking the Cape Fear River and downtown Wilmington in the late afternoon. It was such a gorgeous day, the sun felt so good with a cool fall breeze coming off the water! Once the ceremony was complete it was time to eat and party! The rest of the evening was spent dancing under the stars and concluded with a sparkler exit!
